November 1 - 30-Day Challenge
During this time, I resolve to impose definite restrictions on my thoughts. In thinking of the past, I will dwell only on its pleasing incidents. In thinking of the present, I will direct attention to its desirable elements. In thinking of the future, I will regard every worthy and possible ambition as within reach.
I dedicate myself on this day to focus on all that is nourishing, advancing, and promising for 30 days.
Right where I am God is. I have faith that new growth will take place in my life.
Religion is a life, a living!
I came across a message on FB which I shared with my son who thinks like me. The message is from Dale Partridge. It reads: "Life isn't about the 50 vacations you take while on this planet. It's about the 25,000 days between them. Stop creating a life that you need a vacation from. Instead, move to where you want to live, do what you want to do, start where you want to start, and create the life you want today. This isn't rehearsal people. This is your life."
Then I opened an email from Unity.org inviting me to participate in a 30-day journey of gratefulness beginning today.
I turned on Dana Cooper's CD, "Road Show" and especially enjoyed "Great Day in the Mornin'.
"Everything conspires, it seems, to help us realize the fragile magnificence of our lives. Thoughts held in mind, and words vocalized, do indeed have power to change our lives." ~ Rev. Paul John Roach.
